OVERKILL-Scorched (my review)

 Thrash metal bats from New Jersey are back with their new child. 

Twentieth strike of lightning in full power.

The great thunder is really angry now. 

Album contains classic Overkill style in new dimension.

Some songs are in the style of "Relixiv", "Killbox13", "White devil armory", "The grinding wheel".

Overkill is an awesome thrashing, killing machine. 

Fast, heavy guitar riffs, fast drums, beautiful guitar solos, clanking bass and mad, destructive vocals. Blitz is not growing old! His vocals are more than brilliant.

These musicians are firing with their weapons.

There's no any place of weakness. Overkill never hesitates, never gives a shit. 

Overkill never disappoints.

Album is in the style of old and new Overkill with some really admirable and interesting elements.

The most wonderful song is "Scorched" with fantastic mind-blowing and breathtaking guitar melodies. Album is their beautiful ornament in their discography.

They have scorched everything!!!

METALLICA-72 seasons (my review)

Welcome back to Metallica world.

Behind the simple album cover is hidden an interesting, attractive, melodic, passionate, epic, majestic music.

Songs aren't extremely fast. Because Metallica is not just about speed and aggression.

In their music is more than this. 

Every song is hiding own story full of melodic, hard and heavy guitar riffs together with bass and drums. 

James sings these lyrics with heart, mind and soul. 

All members worked so hard to create such serious songs.

Inspiration is audible. 

The influence of "Ride the lightning", "Master of puppets", "And justice for all" and "Black album" is also audible, inbred and provable. 

Mainly in these melodic guitar solos and riffs.

Essence of this album is connected with "Hardwired" or with masterpiece "Death magnetic". Yes, songs are various but some ones are a little similar.

Lyrics are good enough, telling several stories. 

If you are hungry for new Metallica or for some good heavy metal music so this album is for you.

It's a thrashing with tender melodies and powerful guitar riffs and serious choruses. 

Maybe, this album is better than their previous one.

This is Metallica's yellow heavy metal music, eternal like time, space and light. 

Metallica created something.

And that something will last.

Metallica aeterna. 

 

ANTHRAX-Spreading the disease (my review)

The first metal attack by Anthrax with Joey Belladonna.

Album sounds literally variously. Some songs are easier, not so perfect. But some songs shows really fantastic musical intelligence of these talented musicians. Album has been spreading like a disease there in the metal universe, space and time.

It wasn't the best album. It was the road to their glorious "Among the living". 

Personally, I exactly love these songs "A.I.R.", "Lone justice", "Madhouse", "Armed and dangerous", "Medusa".

When I hear Belladonna's voice I gotta say he sings perfectly in these songs.

He became the voice, face and sign of this band.

In "Armed and dangerous" is screaming his high notes very dexterously. 

"Medusa" is the most serious song on album. The most known one is "Madhouse". The classic thrash metal bomb. It's one of the greatest songs in thrash metal history.

In some precious songs Anthrax showed they belong among the greatest bands of all time.

It's their attractive thrash metal adventure. It was the road to the top with new singer.
