Apocalyptica-Inquisition symphony(my review)

And here is another Apocalyptica album with other cover songs but not only by Metallica.
Here is Fate no more's "From out of nowhere", Sepultura's "Refuse/Resist, Inquisition symphony(this Apocalyptica album is named after this song) and Pantera's Domination.
Cover songs by Metallica are four-For whom the bell tolls, Nothing else matters, Fade to black and One.

Apocalyptica recorded at first time own songs here. And those songs are real thrashing with awesome ideas. "Harmageddon" starts with mysterious riffs on cellos. This song contains hard enough melodies and ranks among the best. The main solo says about fantastic creativity of Apocalyptica. M.B.(Metal boogie) is another thrashing. It's abou crushing cello riffs with fantastic atmosphere, beautiful melodies and awesome sense for creativity. "Toreador" starts with similar intro to Metallica's "Orion". This song is another jewel among their songs. Song contains pretty good riffs, melodies, solos.
Apocalyptica played and created their own songs.

Cover songs by Fate no more, Sepultura, Pantera are fantastic. Mainly "Inquisition symphony" and "Domination". Atmosphere is apocalyptic here.
It's very good that Apocalyptica turned the sound. Cellos sounds heavier and more fantastic.

Metallica cello versions "Nothing else matters", "Fade to black" and "One" makes Metallica more beautiful.
Those melodies, solos, riffs are so good by Apocalyptica. Song "For whom the bell tolls" sounds very heavy and majestic. Their cellos destroys and also plays the most beautiful melodies. Apocalyptica showed again the best performance.

Apocalyptica-Plays Metallica by four cellos(my review)

This is the first masterpiece in metal music which has absolute unique atmosphere. This are Metallica songs but played by cellos. It's so incredible that it's great. Those four classical cellists played the songs by Metallica. They created what nobody did never create before them. It's admirable all those riffs, solos, drums and vocals parts can be played on cellos. Apocalyptica gave the new way for metal music.
On this album are eight classic Metallica songs. Every song sounds very interesting and fascinating in cello version. Apocalyptica gave a new character for those songs.
Songs "The unforgiven" and "Welcome home(Sanitarium)" sounds more beautiful and more interesting in Apocalyptica style. Metallica has a great solos and Apocalyptica played it also great.
And Apocalyptica played also such heavy songs-Master of puppets, Harvester of sorrow, Creeping death with admirable performance.
"Enter sandman" has a pretty funny atmosphere. "Sad but true" sounds heavier than by Metallica. And "Wherever I may roam" has darker atmosphere than original.
Cellos are really heavy instruments and makes really fantastic atmosphere.

Metallica-The black album(my review)

After the best years in Metallica history and after four great albums Metallica started to write more universal songs.
They also wrote lyrics which are about varied things. This album is also very describing today. For example here is the black album cover and almost invisible logo. Metallica gave the various ideas, thoughts and feelings to this album. I want to say every song has own soul and meaning. Lyrics are also something else. They wrote more personal and characteristic.
Metallica did never repeat it. The black album became very successful for the unreal and unique atmosphere. Metallica created the most unchained riffs in their career. They showed their own universal nature, character in every song. Somewhere they are fast and heavy(Sad but true, Holier than thou, Wolf and man, Struggle within, The god that failed).
And somewhere slow and creative(Nothing else matters, The unforgiven, Wherever I may roam, Enter sandman).
This album has it all. It's not fast, slow, weak. It's creative.
Metallica is very creative here. Very. Absolute great are some perfect melodies in the songs(My friend of misery, Wherever I may roam, The unforgiven, Nothing else matters, The god that failed).
And absolute the most beautiful songs are(Nothing else matters, The unforgiven and My friend of misery).

Metallica showed that in their music is more than only fast and heavy riffs. In their music is the unreal sentiment for creativity. And their talent is sensational.
For example the solos in songs Wherever I may roam, My friend of misery, are the example of perfect virtuosity.

Metallica-And justice for all(my review)

After unexpected death of Cliff Burton Metallica was looking for a new bassguitarist. Then new bassguitarist became Jason Newsted. Metallica turned the sound on this album. Bassguitar is inaudible on this album. Drums has unique character and are prominent enough.
Guitars has an interesting sound. It sounds newer because Metallica never repeated this sound and style.
And Justice for all is absolutely unique in their history.
This album is not very bass and therefore the guitars are mainly. Creativity is on the highest level here. And Justice for all has a pretty good ideas from guitars to vocals.
Metallica turned another thing. Lyrics. Lyrics are about corruption, politics, war, bribery, freedom of speech, justice, world's problems.
"Blackened" has interesting silent intro and catchy riff and vocals. Lyrics are about Earth's problems, apocalypse.
"And Justice for all" starts with great guitar intro. This song has one of the best riff by Metallica. This lyrics says about bribery, corruption in jurisdiction.
"Eye of beholder" is rolling, crushing song. This riff is really fantastic. This song is the continuation of political topics.
"One" is the antiwar song which describes war as the worst thing in the world. Song has very beautiful solos. Then the song is going faster, harder. The last solo is one of the greatest by Metallica.
"The shortest straw" is another political song. Lyrics describes liberty. Song has rolling atmosphere.
"Harvester of sorrow" is popular enough. This song has catchy riffs, vocals, refrain and fantastic drums.
"The frayed ends of sanity" starts rolling and contains a technical riffs.
"To live is to die" is an instrumental song and ranks among the best songs.
Guitar riff is fascinating. Metallica can do really good instrumental songs.
"Dyers eve" is the fastest song on album. This is real thrashing at the end.

Metallica-Master of puppets(my review)

It's interesting and fascinating how Metallica was recording better and better albums. Ride the lightning is a masterpiece and Master of puppets is absolute golden masterpiece. Metallica continued with with fast riffs and fascinating melodies. Master of puppets is like some collection of of the best creativity.
What they performed on this album is admirable.

James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett created the greatest melodies like never before. Cliff Burton's bassguitar riffs were ravishing, brilliant. This album is his last artwork. Cliff was the most talented of all bassguitarist.
Drums by Lars Ulrich are the best on this album and his drums are important ornament. Every song has a very strong structure, riffs and solos. Those songs are jewels and shows absolute top of creativity.
Lyrics are about drugs, social problems, war, death. And every lyrics introduce other story. Master of puppets has attractive album cover.
Album starts with song "Battery" which has the great intro and very sharp riffs and vocals. "Master of puppets" song is the most popular by Metallica. This song has catchy riffs, vocals, refrains. And a beautiful middle solos.
"The thing that should not be" has gloomy bassguitar. "Welcome home(Sanitarium)" is like another "Fade to black". This song is with capricious intro and atmosphere.
It ranks among the most beautiful songs by Metallica.
"Disposable heroes" and "Leper messiah" are hard, heavy songs with interesting melodies and vocals with strong structure and atmosphere.
"Orion" is the best instrumental song by Metallica. Starts with gloomy, dark bassguitar intro. In the middle part of song is the great bassguitar and the best guitar solos in history of Metallica.
Orion makes a special part of this album. Orion is like a celestial power. Orion sounds very attractive and emotional. When I listen this song it makes me very special feeling.
"Damage Inc." Has good intro. This song is another thrashing with sharp riffs, solos, vocals. This song has a pretty crushing atmosphere.
Master of puppets album is a top of creativity.
Masters of professionalism.

Metallica-Ride the lightning(my review)

This is the second ride and now it's more interesting. They created sharp and melodic riffs. There are also more melodic solos and vocals than on album Kill em all.
Metallica wrote lyrics about other things. This album is simply with more interesting ideas. They showed how they are talented and universal. Ride the lightning is another jewel of the jewels.
Those songs has the catchy and unforgettable melodies, riffs. Absolute top are-Fight fire with fire, Ride the lightning (the most awesome riff by Metallica), For whom the bell tolls(with Cliff Burton's great bass intro), the anthem Creeping death and the first instrumental song by Metallica-Call of Ktulu which contains the mass of nice melodies.
Here is the first slower song "Fade to black" but the end of song is pretty interesting. "Trapped under ice" has a catchy refrain, "Escape" is with Interesting atmosphere, mainly in refrain.
This album is full of unforgettable experiences, moments, ideas, atmosphere, feelings. Ride the lightning album is very successful artwork, it's masterpiece.
It's very unique and favorite. The songs For whom the bell tolls and Creeping death are the ornaments at every Metallica concert.
Just those songs from this album are the anthems for thrash metal music. They did find their style just here. It's a top.

Metallica-Kill 'em all(my review)

The first album of the prominent kings of metal history. Kill 'em all is also one of the first albums in thrash metal history. After so many years this album ranks among the jewels and still sounds attractive. Kill 'em all is a part of thrash metal house.
The four horsemen recorded a bomb. I can't find some weak place because this saw is perfect.
Metallica gave for thrash metal many good enough ideas and influences.
Under the influence of the bands Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest or Saxon they created the first monster in their career. Of course with own ideas and talent. Creativity of those musicians is more than admirable.
Those songs are great but absolute top are "The four horsemen", "No remorse", "Whiplash" or "Seek and destroy".
Sharp guitars, vocals and drums. Everything is right. It's colossal and unbelievable that this album and band became very successful and famous. Maybe it was fortune. But Metallica was working hard and here is the result. Great and perfect.

Slayer-Diabolus in musica(my review)

Slayer has some unique albums and just this album ranks among such. They did never repeat this style. All the atmosphere is full of dark and brisk riffs. This album showed the new way for Slayer. When I looks at lyrics they are mass of gloomy ideas and stories. Just atypical atmosphere made this album only awesome. The guitars are not chaotic, are good chaotic. Drums plays in some moments very interesting melodies. Vocals are adapted in songs for style.
Here are advances which Slayer never repeated and never used again.
Despite of it all this album sounds attractive. Of course Diabolus in musica is for someone good or not. I gotta say that the sound is successful enough for age when diabolus in musica was released.
Diabolus in musica stays unique for this atmosphere.

Slayer-God hates us all(my review)

This album is one of those which has own will and soul. Contains very much great and mainly new ideas therefore ranks among the successful.
Sign of this album is melody, ferocity and perfection. Lyrics are about religion, war, murder. And Slayer says it in the album title. That album makes feeling like it's here to say the truth.
Slayer created riffs like never before with those structures and solos. Kerry and Jeff are the greatest here. Their guitars are the reflective strike. Together with mad drums, bass and typical crushing vocals makes the killing music.
There's nothing weak on this album. Through the fast tempo in songs like "Disciple", "Exile" or "Payback" here ate some gloomy songs "Bloodline", "God send death" and "Here comes the pain".
Bloodline is fully gloomy. For example "God send death" contains very catchy refrain and melody. This album is unambiguous madness and has much enough good songs.

Slayer-Christ illusion(my review)

There were the great albums but Christ illusion ranks among the best. The best and the most aggressive. Slayer wrote mad enough songs in their new age. Those all songs are great, awesome with sharp and brisk riffs and solos.
For example "Flesh storm", Catalyst", "Skeleton christ" or "Supremist" are very big sign that this album is full of energy and interesting ideas. Slayer gives a storm in every song and gives a characteristical atmosphere. It's very admirable how they recorded so really strong album. It's relative to Seasons in the abyss album and also album cover is similar. Here is a total whirlwind. Like an assembling of hate, violence and hell. Here are some slower but still good songs(Eyes of the insane, Black Serenade).
Or the intro of "Cult" which is so pretty dark and gloomy. "Cult" has also a great refrain.
The sound of Christ illusion is good and all the structure is crushing. It will be hard enough for Slayer to overcome this album.

Slayer-World painted blood(my review)

It was the time for Slayer to record the another album. And it was the time to record it with attractive ideas and not with the same.
They build the wall with bloody color. This album is very close to their best albums and best performances. It contains interesting parts of every song. Here are pretty fast and hard songs like-World painted blood, Hate worldwide, Psychopathy red or Not of this god. Here are also very interesting riffs which are an ornaments of the songs "Human strain" and "Playing with dolls". Kerry and Jeff performs interesting melodies for example in "Beauty through order". Admirable is performence of Dave Lombardo  who has unique style.
Vocals are preferential in the songs. Tom makes with his voice good atmosphere. Every song shows that this album is not very boring. Lyrics has a great style for every song, for every moment and every feeling. I think that this album is another top in their discography. It's a pretty good mass of Slayer music.

Slayer-Repentless(my review)

Everybody awaited what album Slayer could record. After Jeff Hanneman's death Kerry King became only songwriter and lyricswritter in band. He needed also a new guitarist for concerts. Then Gary Holt became a new Slayer guitarist. What a pity that Gary didn't write some songs for Repentless.
Maybe Kerry didn't want. I don't know. But he could allow him.
Like every album also Repentless has good and better songs. Some riffs are fascinating like "Repentless", "Implode" or "When the stillness comes". Some riffs are something new for Slayer, for example "Atrocity vendor" or "Pride in prejudice". And for example "You against you" has the serious, rolling riff and good video. The thing why is Repentless album so called "new" that Slayer did never recorded an instrumental song. "Delusions of saviour" is the beginning of it all. When I listen it I says to myself "It's pretty mysterious". And just such riffs are interesting for Slayer. Just in the same atmosphere is song "When the stillness comes" which has intro in style of "Seasons in the abyss" or "Spill the blood".
In slower tempo is "Pride in prejudice" which has a strong structure and good sound. I like a video and how Tom sings here. And for those who like faster songs are great-Repentless, Take control, Chasing death, Implode or Piano wire.
Piano Wire wrote Jeff Hanneman before his death. And it sounds awesome.
And for some who hates this album for not very good, fast songs I says-here are good and better songs, fast and also slower. I don't know why somebody hates Repentless album for not very good ideas.
Look at South of heaven where Slayer also changed some ways and then South of heaven became very favourite.
Maybe Repentless could be better but Kerry King mastered it admirable. Kerry did give his soul to this album. And it's main that Slayer is still alive.

Slayer-Divine intervention(my review)

Another way to be the most aggressive band in the world. Slayer made and created more mad style than on Seasons in the abyss. Songs has very heavy structure and crushing atmosphere. They are technical wild. It was an another step to the newer things and ways. On this album is at first time a new drumer Paul Bostaph who replaced Dave Lombardo. Paul made his own atmosphere for this album and it's also good.
Guitars riffs are varied enough, it's not very simple. In the songs are the fast changes of tempos or interesting solos and melodies. Divine intervention ranks among another development. Slayer created the newer riffs here like in songs Divine intervention, 213, or Serenity in murder. In my opinion this album is something particular and it makes awesome feeling. The sound of this album is successful. Because every instrument has right place here. Vocals are pretty awesome mad and mainly aggressive for example in "Killing fields", "Dittohead" or "mind control".
"Dittohead" is the fastest song which Slayer created. Lyrics are about war, murder, violence, fictional reality, religion.
Song "Divine intervention" shows how is religion washing the brains. Slayer wrote matured enough songs and lyrics. They know what they do and shows the world in a real face through time in their own opinions. Divine intervention is a divine experience for ears.

Slayer-Seasons in the abyss(my review)

Slayer continued with fast tempo like on Reign in blood with some new ideas and new entrances. This album has own will, soul and atmosphere. It's sensational. Songs has a cutting riffs for example "War ensemble" with very fast tempo. "War ensemble is the hardest song on Seasons in the abyss album and one of the hardest songs by Slayer. I can say the album is a masterpiece. Kerry and Jeff showed here their better side and made the guitars more mad. Seasons in the abyss is very relative to Reign in blood because those riffs and speed is here. Of course those riffs are in the newer style. The year 1990 was for Slayer successful enough. They knew to record so pretty great album.
And what Tom? His vocals are better than before, voice is admirable. Drums by thrasher Dave Lombardo are in the best level. Dave hits and hits and it's awesome. It's very true that Slayer will never overcome this album. It's more than golden. And Seasons in the abyss is mainly with very fast songs but here is the last song "Seasons in the abyss" which could be on South of heaven album. This song is with same atmosphere Luke "Spill the blood". It's a capricious, dark and ranks among the favorite songs by Slayer. Song "Seasons in the abyss" has the great intro, vocals, refrain and video.
Lyrics from the album are typical for Slayer.
