APOCALYPTICA-Plays Metallica vol. 2 (my review)

Cello metal masters are back with some new album. This album contains another Metallica covers. It's more different than their first album. Sound and style is different. Some songs are connected with others. For example in "Ride the lightning" you can recognize riffs of "For whom the bell tolls" and "Escape".
In "Holier than thou" you can hear riffs from "Enter Sandman" at the end. Yes, it's really strange but they did it.
"To live is to die" is not a whole but it's pretty beautiful.
The most powerful part are in "St. Anger", "Blackened" or "The four horsemen". Apocalyptica added to every song any ornaments. Therefore this album is so different. But it was a good idea to make this.
It's a Metallica music in other, more fascinating dimension. They connected Metallica songs with their own style.
Sound of cello are really apocalyptic, mainly in fast, heavy riffs. Of course, Apocalyptica plays also slow, beautiful melodies.
Big ornament in this album, in their career are really famous guests. Rob Trujillo in "The four horsemen", Dave Lombardo in "Blackened" and James Hetfield in "One".
So this album will surely be famous and successful.
Album cover is pretty impressive. It's like Apocalyptica's Ride the lightning.
Musically, they are somewhere back in time but with really new and supernatural meaning, style, way and direction.
The remarkable, admirable, impressive classic cello metal album.
