Meanwhile the last album by the king of musical horror. 

Album starts with pretty cool intro what's a good waiting for the great attack of horror in second song. 

Horror story is as always punchy, full of horrifying things typical for insane horror action. It's about black magic and searching for the soul without sins. King Diamond is one of the characters even with his cat Magic. Really impressive.

He has given his soul to this album. It's a clear proof. 

Therefore this album is full of amazing horror ideas, performance, moments, elements. It's a part of his vocal magic that lives inside this story and music. Lyrically, of course, full of horror too. He has that supernatural ability to write such great, interesting and admirable horror story. He is the chosen one, by the way.

His vocals skills are more than praiseworthy. He write lyrics, songs mainly at night. Surely it's true. Night is inspiring, I know.

Musically, this adventurous horror story has beautiful, dark and haunted music. That music contains all these horror feelings. And you can feel them. Always, in day and night. Always. 

This music is unforgettable. It's an unforgettable horror, musical experience. 

Album is really varied with many, many haunted but wonderful melodies. In its own essence stunning. 

This another horror musical book is a golden ornament in their discography. 

KING DIAMOND-The puppet master (my review)

 

Come with me to the horror puppet show down to the deepest dark abyss. Come and enjoy this musical adventure.

The story tells about insane puppet master. In this very ghostly story the puppets are made of real human bodies. This all sounds as the greatest suffering in theatre of pain, insanity and horror. It's all just in this fictional story. 

The musical face of this album contains a lot of magical and ghostly melodies. It's just a perfect connection of music and horror show. Here is also one wonderful magic. You can imagine and feel the course and way of all this adventurous story.

The best with closed eyes at night. This music has the greatest power at night. And maybe you'll be dreaming about this. It would be really insane. Mainly, this horror metal music is supernatural, magical, mysterious, and insanely impressive. By the way, more than this, more than anything else. Tunes contains also a great horror lyrics. There's a wonderful fantasy of music and story. This is one of the best King Diamond albums.

I feel one more thing. It's like a connection of "House of god", "Voodoo" and "The graveyard".

With a newer progress in songs, with all newer moments, elements, emotions. King Diamond's vocals created another excellent horror atmosphere.

The puppet master is controlling it all inside the deep darkness of this horror theatre. The show is haunted... such is the story.

KING DIAMOND-Abigail II : The revenge (my review)

 

A bombastic continuation of the great horror story of Abigail. The second part of the masterpiece from 1987.

It's a big event and pleasure to hear this continuation. It's a big pleasure to have Abigail II in this heavy metal world. It's more than a dream and reality together.

Eye-catching horror story is for me a special feeling. For you must be too. In every song I feel that magical horror atmosphere. Every one song tells a part of this musical, adventurous book. It's so simply to imagine this plot, scenario and theme. It's really very vivid musical horror movie. I feel absolutely each one moment and element from inside of this ghostly and perfect artwork. 

Musically is great, emotional, magical and powerful. As good as the first Abigail. I would like to write that in some parts better. With a newer, more progressive elements and sound. All this music is a stunning ornament of this horror story and reversely. 

The story of Abigail is absolutely the most popular in all heavy metal world. It will always penetrate to my mind. I can't forget. And you too. It's so unforgettable and immortal. You'll dream of Abigail. This story will never leave you.

I have... I have... a... one... feeling. I... think... her... her spirit... will... never... leave... 

That her spirit lives always in these songs. Yeah, that musical spirit also, it will never die.

It will always be in this heavy metal world. Abigail calls for her mother... and this music calls for an eternal, immortal life and glory.

King Diamond (band) is here in full horror power. King Diamond as a singer is a wonderful part of this horror music as always. "Abigail II" is a shining diamond in darkness. Deep in the metal ground. Deep in the darkest abyss. 

The high-class horror heavy metal masterpiece.

KING DIAMOND-House of god (my review)

 

It all begins with very haunted intro. The loosely horrifying story about legend of Rennes le chateau. 

This spiritually haunted horror musical story will surely get you anytime.

In this house of god, a musical part of album, you can hear a lot of fascinating guitar riffs and melodies. "Voodoo" has a little better horror story but this one is also interesting.

Such a historical horror legend. Music is something very heavenly. It can start up the brain and you can simply imagine this story with every elements. It's not totally great album but in its own essence it's unique anyway. Unique and mysterious in some parts. 

Through it all, this special horror musical bible contains a pretty good parts in tunes. In my opinion, the best song is "Help!!!". This song has a powerful structure, melodies and vocals. It's totally my favourite one from this metal piece. No doubt, it's one of the best songs by this band. 

King Diamond sings here very soundly. On full album, King Diamond is a god of horror. In this ghostly, divine heavy metal adventure. "House of god" is an independent chapter of King Diamond band.

With own rules, atmosphere and influence. It's like a strange walkabout in the dark forest where the haunted church is located.

KING DIAMOND-Voodoo (my review)

 

Another prominent heavy metal horror story now about, mainly about voodoo rituals is after previous album more spiritual, of course, ghostly by own way and fantasy of King Diamond. 

With some progressive elements from "The graveyard" this album became popular in metal community and in horror metal world. 

"Voodoo" sounds even more attractively with more impressive horror tunes. Also nowadays it sounds pretty cool. 

Some parts in the songs are unusually hard and heavy. Unusually fast, similar to thrash metal. Therefore it's progressive. In own ghostly essence right. 

Imagination is very well audible here. Hard feelings that this music explains you must feel also. It's a wonderful living musical horror theatre where every horror thing has its right place. Music, all these instruments explains and speaks with own horror tones this story. King Diamond as a singer and creator of these horror vocals and songs is admirable as always.

Giving to every song, album a typical horror atmosphere. His fantasy is more than excellent. "Voodoo" is an insane and beautiful musical ritual. This music says the deepest feelings. You can see and feel the imagination of these tunes. This musical ritual will get you also in dreams. "Voodoo" is a powerful part of their discography. The golden horror, frightening heavy metal masterpiece. 

KING DIAMOND-The graveyard (my review)

 

Welcome to graveyard. At night. This horror story is very various, with many entanglements. The plot is pretty insane. It's about insane King who's possessed by urban legend. This horror story belongs to the best ones by King Diamond. It's supernatural how he created this horror masterpiece.

Lyrically is perfectly lunatic and impressive. Every song will drag you in this ghostly story. It will never let you go. It will let you drowned in the graveyard of fear and darkness. 

You'll be bound with this horror musical story forever. And you'll never forget on this ghostly experience. This insane musical adventure is maybe the most unique in its own essence. With a lot of interesting horror melodies, heavy riffs. Just music is very miscellaneous here. In my opinion, on this album is very good progress in songwritting. Structure of every tune is intricate, various and with a lot of different feelings, emotions, tempos and atmospheres. It's really impressive album. 

I can hear absolutely everything what's all about. I can imagine what every song contains. There are a musical pictures in these songs. If I hear the song I see them all. It's a living horror musical adventure. I can't describe how great is this. A golden masterpiece in dark heavy metal universe.

KING DIAMOND-The spider's lullabye (my review)

 

Spiders and arachnophobia have become a theme for the last 4 songs. Other ones creates an independent horror story. 

And just this theme has become a very strong for this album. Spiders of horror fear weaves their webs in all these songs, mainly in last 4 songs. Instantly at the beginning it's clear that this musical horror book is perfectly excellent. 

A powerful ghostly thunder shakes the ground and awakes all spiders that spreads the fright. And their last lullabye for every victims. Musically, get ready, because this ain't any sweet lullabye. It's a stunning, ghostly, dark, sinister lullabye. Music on this album is pretty miscellaneous. No boredom. So you'll never fall asleep. Spiders will never let you sleep!

This wonderful musical nightmare has many interesting and impressive moments in every single tune. Ornaments of an adventurous horror musical book are presented really everywhere. All music is heavenly insane. Lyrics are ghostly as always. Stunning, unique voice of King Diamond is a golden part of this album. I have no bad words. It's one of the most wonderful King Diamond albums. If you like this album you've caught into spider's web. And the spider's lullabye will haunt you forever...

KING DIAMOND-"The eye" (my review)

 

Another single horror heavy metal story is about real historical events. 

Except of "Eye of the witch". This tune and its lyric is fictional.

Horror story is about chasing the witches and their death. 

"Eye of the witch" is one of their most excellent songs together with "Burn" . Other songs aren't so great. Even if they contains dark, horror atmosphere. Something could be better. Previous albums contains more influential, prominent songs. It's a bit weaker album but due to King Diamond a bit better. 

He gives a typical horror atmosphere to this musical book. "The eye" is sinister, dark, watching the past and presence. It's a mysterious part inside heavy metal haunted world. 

Sometimes there are a mixed feelings of fear and despair connected with hopeless ways in history. Even history is sometimes very mysterious like this album. Also musical feelings are strange, rare, remarkable. In its own way, essence this is a really special, unique album. Not the best but different. You can hear just some great ideas, moments in some parts of tunes. 

Some guitar musical moments, melodies are an ornament of this artwork. The most wonderful ornament is still the voice of King Diamond.

KING DIAMOND-Conspiracy (my review)

 

The continuation of musical horror story from previous album is pretty excellent in own way, the word excellent is weak enough. 

Musically is similar to "Them" but not completely. I think the horror guitar riffs, melodies, solos, atmosphere is much better than on previous metal piece. 

Also, the structure of all these songs is much better, interesting, impressive. The sound of an album is clear and more attractive. The horror atmosphere is, of course, very well presented. It's also wonderful to hear it. Lyrically, it's a cool horror musical book. 

You can hear it, imagine it, feel it in the musical horror darkness. Layers of insanity and fear comes out from every word and tone. The horrifying story has one stunning magic. It's music. The magic that gives a supernatural power in night, in day, everywhere, anytime. This music expresses all feelings, emotions, blights, frights. It's perfectly ghostly. But also wonderful.

I absolutely think this is the best, greatest King Diamond album. Amazing lyrics, music, choruses, vocals, tunes. I can't choose the best song. It's impossible indeed. King Diamond and Andy LaRocque have created an absolute horror doom, apocalypse.

The spellbinding artwork. Also album cover is ghostly. "Conspiracy" is eternal, dark and invincible. 

It's a golden horror heavy metal masterpiece. Jewel in their discography. 

KING DIAMOND-"Them" (my review)

 

A big horror musical story about King, his family and "Them". 

This story continues on album "Conspiracy". 

It's, in my opinion, much harder, more haunted and more insane than "Abigail". A dark energy is spreading from this album very intensively. Story is also more miscellaneous together with music and horror atmosphere. 

If I listen to these songs I imagine what's happening in this horror story. Through music I see a visions about "Them" all, if I close my eyes. This music is like a living horror movie. I see, hear, feel how the story goes. And that's a magic. A horror magic of "Them".

It's a very well processed music with story, lyrics. Musically, I can't write any bad word. Haunted but pretty attractive. It's a breathtaking, amazing connection of musical horror feelings, haunted things and everything what's insane. 

"Them", they are insane, wild, horrible. But that music is supernatural with these melodic, haunted, hard guitar riffs. 

Individual magic of horror feelings is inside King's vocals. 

"Them" is an another top. A golden masterpiece inside the abyss of heavy metal. The most insane, totally terrifying adventure. The greatest insanity of all insanities. More terrifying than all horrors together.

KING DIAMOND-Abigail (my review)

 

A full musical horror story mainly about Abigail is the second deadly attack by this unique band. I won't write a full story but it's pretty cool, stunning, impressive and, of course, haunted. 

This adventurous album will surely penetrate to your mind and you'll never forget it. It's totally unforgettable. 

Music, lyrics, vocals will be repeating in your mind constantly. You'll be dreaming about this. This music is infectious and haunted. 

The nightmare about Abigail would be very rare and insane. Well, that's a horror side of this album. Musically, it's more melodic but less dark than Fatal Portrait. 

The atmosphere and sound is heavy, powerful, haunted, mysterious and stunning. The best moments lives in "Funeral", "Arrival", "A mansion in darkness", "The family ghost", "Abigail" and "Black horsemen".

It's a golden jewel in their discography and in heavy metal universe. This album and horror story is simply invincible. A performance of all musicians is very stunning and admirable. Vocals of King Diamond gives a special horror atmosphere as always to every tune. 

Abigail is insanely insane and interesting musical horror masterpiece.

KING DIAMOND-Fatal portrait (my review)

 

This excellent, haunted heavy metal piece was created from everything insane what never existed in all music world. 

In 80s it was absolutely the most haunted heavy metal album. In own essence the most horror album. Some horror songs are also on Mercyful Fate albums but here is an absolute top. Musically and lyrically. 

King Diamond as a singer was also good in Mercyfyl Fate but here is much better. Each one song is perfectly created. Atmosphere is unique and stunning. I think, King Diamond spent days and mainly nights with writting these songs, lyrics. Here is the power of music and fantasy. It screams in every second. In every moment and feeling. Songs tells an emotional horror stories so well that you must feel a magic of this musical adventure. 

This musical horror book shows every ways of fear, insanity.

First 4 songs and "Haunted" are a mutual story. By the way, every other song has own story but severally. 

Each musical instrument gives a special horror atmosphere to these tunes. A really special, unique part are vocals of King Diamond (Kim Bendix Petersen). 

He gives a totally special, totally unique atmosphere. His voice, it's like a horror siren, is a golden ornament of every King Diamond album. This album has got a power. From the start to the end. In every moment. No weak or useless place. It's the first real horror heavy metal album. It's dark, full of fear, nightmares, insanity and all bad things. But musically, very miscellaneous, beautiful, interesting, admirable, impressive and attractive.
